“Tecnología punta al servicio de la cocina”

Así se titula un artículo publicado en la revista ABABOL (el 30 de Junio de 2012), del diario La Verdad (Murcia, Spain), donde se presenta al Grupo de Investigación en Ingeniería del Frío y la Seguridad Alimentaria, y se analizan las distintas líneas de investigación que se llevan a cabo en el mismo.

Uno de los artículos publicados por investigadores de este Grupo de Investigación (IFSa), sobre la Ingeniería de la Seguridad Alimentaria, el artículo titulado:

está siendo uno de los artículos más descargados de la web de la Revista Food Engineering Reviews. Link


Esto significa que la seguridad alimentaria es un tema que cada vez preocupa más. En este artículo se detalla cómo la ingeniería puede ayudar a mejorar la seguridad alimentaria, y disminuir, al mismo tiempo, la necesidad del uso de conservantes.

Algunas Noticias destacadas del Grupo IFSa (Food Safety Engineering and Refrigeration), de 2010 y 2011.
Octubre de 2010. La empresa MONTAJES CONSERVEROS DE GALICIA, S.L. recibió el Primer Premio en la categoría "Packaging", por la cerradora presentada “Irregular can vacuum seamer”, otorgado por la IPA Innovation Competion 2010 (en la World Food Process Exhibition, IPA 2010, Paris, 17-21 Oct 2010). Con una nueva cerradora de latas irregulares desarrollada en un Proyecto CDTI dirigido por el Prof. Antonio López. Este desarrollo, en cuya patente aparece el profesor Antonio López Gómez como inventor, se ha llevado a cabo dentro del Proyecto de Investigación Industrial Concertada, financiado por el CDTI, y con título: “NUEVA TECNOLOGÍA PARA CERRADORAS DE LATAS IRREGULARES”, donde se ha conseguido diseñar una nueva cerradora de latas irregulares que trabaja a alto vacío y que posee un diseño ultralimpio (New Irregular can vacuum seamer with ultra-clean design).

Abril de 2011. La empresa S.A.E. DE CARTÓN ONDULADO, SAECO. Recibió el Premio a la Investigación Aplicada en la Empresa, convocatoria 2011. Premio del Centro Europeo de Empresas e Investigación (CEEIM), adherido a la Consejería de Universidades, Empresa e Investigación a través del Instituto de Fomento (Info de Murcia), y ha contado con el patrocinio de la Fundación Séneca y Cajamurcia. Con nuevos productos y tecnologías desarrolladas en Proyectos CDTI dirigidos por el Prof. Antonio López.

En la foto que se muestra a continuación aparecen, de izda a dcha, el Prof. Antonio López Gómez junto al prof. Fulgencio Marín y D. Juan Vicente Dávalos Director General de la empresa SAECO, junto a su hijo Carlos, también Directivo de esta Empresa.

Con esta empresa se está llevando a cabo actualmente el siguiente Proyecto de Investigación:
Proyecto: “NUEVOS ENVASES ACTIVOS DE CARTÓN MICROCORRUGADO BASADOS EN AGENTES ANTI-QUORUM SENSING PARA LA CONSERVACIÓN DE ALIMENTOS” (New Microcorrugated Cardboard Active Packaging based on Anti-quorum Sensing Agents for Foods Conservation). Entidades financiadoras: EUREKA Project 6245 NCCAAP; CDTI (ref EUREKA Project 6245 NCCAAP). Entidades participantes: UPCT, UMU, Empresa S.A.E. DE CARTÓN ONDULADO (Murcia), Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalen (Israel), y la empresa BG Polymers (BG) (Israel), que se prolongará hasta 2013. Por parte de la UPCT, el Investigador Principal es el prof. Antonio López Gómez.

Recientemente, los servicios de transferencia de tecnología de la Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena han grabado un video que comenta las líneas de actuación del Grupo de Investigación en Ingeniería del Frío y la Seguridad Alimentaria, y se puede ver en YouTube. Ir a Video

Este grupo está muy centrado en diferentes proyectos de investigación dentro de los diversos campos de actuación del ámbito de la Food Safety Engineering, tal como viene descrito en el artículo de la revista Food Engineering Reviews, que ha sido publicado por varios de los investigadores de este Grupo de Investigación.
